You’ve googled and researched and maybe tried meditating. You’ve certainly tried to “just stop worrying.” You may not even remember the last time you weren’t anxious. You disguise your anxiety as caretaking or staying overly busy, or channel it all into exercise or eating behaviors, but that doesn’t seem to be as helpful as it used to be. Perhaps you’ve even tried something like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, on your own or with a professional.

I can help you find relief and freedom from feeling trapped inside your head, whether it’s showing up as panic, dread, worry, obsessive thoughts, irritation, or restlessness.

Help for Stress & Burnout

Or maybe you’d say you’re really just stressed. You’re competent, you’re outwardly functioning, but inside feels chaotic and overwhelming. It’s a change at your job (or in you), or having to fill too many roles at one time, or trying to be everything for everyone else so nothing falls apart. You can feel burnout creeping in - or it’s already following you around.

You want tools to manage all the stressors running around inside your brain and body. You want to be able to sleep more normally, eat more normally, feel more… normal.

Anxiety and stress are more common than people realize,
and the way to cope is not to
just continue struggling to repress it or even
getting rid of it.

Neither of those strategies helps you in the long-term,
if only because life in this world can actually be
pretty scary at times.

In therapy for anxiety and stress management, we will:

  • explore possible contributing factors

  • name what is currently working, and what isn’t

  • add new coping skills to your toolbox

  • experiment until we find what is most helpful

  • work WITH your brain and nervous system rather than against them.

All of this work will be done from a trauma-informed and neurodivergence-affirming approach.

You’ll be treated like the intelligent, competent person that you are, and your feedback will be just as important as anything I offer you.

Therapy treatment with me for anxiety and stress management is not designed to keep you in therapy for the rest of your life. It will be tailored to your personality, natural gifts, and life circumstances, to get you feeling better as soon as possible.
