Or maybe you’d say you’re really just stressed. You’re competent, you’re outwardly functioning, but inside feels chaotic and overwhelming. It’s a change at your job (or in you), or having to fill too many roles at one time, or trying to be everything for everyone else so nothing falls apart. You want tools to manage all the stressors running around inside your brain and body. You want to be able to sleep more normally, eat more normally, feel more… normal.
Anxiety and stress are more common than people realize. We’ll explore possible contributing factors, what is currently working, and what isn’t. We’ll add new coping skills to your toolbox and experiment until we find what is most helpful. We will use a trauma-informed and neurodivergence-affirming lens as we work WITH your brain and nervous system rather than against them.
